Hi all,
I've had a search but can't find the answer I'm after.
I have a Ed30 56 reg.
I've been looking on eBay for a Sanden (the one to have from memory?) air con compressor.
I've seen a few but the only one that is listed as coming from a Gti/R32 has a part no. 1K0820803S
Others I've seen, have come from Tdi's with a part no. 1K0820803Q which is listed as having superseded the earlier part no.
When I put both codes in the compatibility checker, they both show as incompatible.
Confused.com
Anyone know what part no.s I should be looking out for?
Cheers

I'll check ETKA for you shortly :happy2:

ATP search on 1K0820803S (dropped on 01/04/2007) comes up as fitting a 2005-07 Caddy but is also listed for 2004/5 diesel Golf and the 1K0820803Q (dropped on 01/05/2006) is just an earlier variant of this part.
So here is what I think you need...

1K0820859S - a/c compressor, DENSO
If ordering through VW/TPS exhange version available for discounted price, the part numbers are the same but have X on the end (1K0820859SX)

Thanks mate, really appreciate you taking the time for me! Cheers :congrats:

Will check out TPS prices with that code. Cheers.
Sticking that code in eBay came up with this. Wonder if they are any good?

No worries. Might be worth a punt for that price mate? as the genuine ones are very pricey :happy2:

My thoughts exactly. From memory, the Denso & Valeo units were more susceptible to goosing it quicker. Thanks again for your help mate. I may just survive the summer now! :happy2:
