Title: Should mfd show if bonnet is open
Post by: Mill750 on July 13, 2015, 08:44:24 pm
If the mfd shows the bonnet is open as per boot , if it's not highlighted could that mean the sensor has gone . Had a low oil Amber warning today , topped up and the warning did not go out , is this another sign of bonnet sensor gone? Could this sensor be connected to the headlamps too as I have a bulb out light  , all bulbs are fine

In key postion 2 - Open the bonnet and then put your wipers on if they work the bonnet switch if most likely defective!
