Okay so I leave work today and notice when coming to a stop (10mph or slower) the car is clicking or knocking... Sounds like its the front left wheel.
Gave the wheel a good pull and no wobble so don't think its a wheel bearing...
Took my dad out with me so he could listen and noticed it also does it when turning at very slow speed with no brakes applied. Its almost like the knock appears at slow speed and goes with the rotation of the wheel.
Any ideas!? All help welcome as I want it sorted stuff like this does my head in :sad1:

A clikcking when turning can mean a bad cv joint. get your phone under the car and point it to the hub of the wheel. There is a rubber boot cone that projects the joint. Is it still in tact or is it split and leaking grease

Cv boot looks fine, no sign of grease no cracks or splits that i can see. It actually looks remarkably in good Nic.
Any other ideas?

If it's more a knock than a click it could be a wishbone bush.
Either way, it's worth getting it in at a decent garage for them to put it up on the ramp for a proper look.
Almost impossible to diagnose over an internet forum!

Yup all booked in for Wednesday, as I've been listening for the knock I've also noticed a slight whiney kind of sound when pulling away slowly... Swear I'm going mad haha

My power steering seems a little noisy at low speeds.. I'm keeping an eye (ear) on it.
I think if you're anything like me you'll be a bit more in tune with odd noises coming from the car, being an 'enthusiast' and the car being a bit more than an A to B job.
For those that do treat the car as purely an A to B thing, I'm pretty sure they don't notice these little things, and don't care anyway. And I'd be willing to bet most little noises don't actually amount to any issues, and the A to B driver continues on in blissful ignorance.
But for the likes of us, we hear a knock from the front and before we know it we're planning a full bush overhaul, anti-lift kit, and coilovers to replace what can only be terminally knackered suspension. The only option of course!
We're all probably a bit oversensitive to the odd noise.

Glad to know its not just me then with the noises :laugh:
I have had a few noises so I pretty much changed every component for the front suspension, turns out it was the front nearside front wishbone bush :ashamed:

(at least you know your front is sorted for a while)
