Hi all,
I know my eyes are bad, but I can't seem to find anywhere in the description of this model whether or not there is a slot for USB?
Can anyone who has one please confirm.
Also, and I'm probably answering my own question here
I assume eBay is where everyone has purchased their RNS510's from?
Any particular users that you've all used and had no issues with?
Not sure if people selling in bulk or just individuals selling used ones.

You need an MDI USB cable adapter. It's an extra module that can connect USB pens or with another cable iPhones (newer or older depending on the cable).
I just use the SD card slot.

I use the SD slot too

Ah okay, thanks both.
Assume eBay is the place to get the head unit from at a reduced price?
-
Figured just carry on using this thread rather than start a new one.
Does anyone know if you can still hook up a sub to the RNS510? If so, does it affect the full utilisation of the subs power output?
Would it be better to go aftermarket? Trouble is ... I want all the features of the RNS510 still if I do go aftermarket.
Recommendations?

Sorry for the questions .... looking at getting this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RNS510-STYLE-HD-DVD-GPS-SAT-NAV-7-VW-PASSAT-TOURAN-GOLF-MK5-6-T5-POLO-EOS-SKODA-/111715126447
Not OEM, but appears to be very similar and for nearly half the price.
Anyone else bought the same as above?

Anyone?

Anyone?
They dont worth a penny dude. If you want to get a real good aftermarket unit, look for Zenec one. These are sh*ts. Maybe in the picture it looks nice, but really... Ofcourse it depends what do you want and what have you got in the car. If your car is empty, I would go for aftermarket one, but not for a china crappy sh1t. For 250 you could get RCD510 with dab+MDI unit, if you dont need navi.
