Obviously we are on the Mk5 forum, but theres a Mk7 section, so why not Mk6?

The mk6 is essentially an updated mk5, there aren't that many changes fundamentally, whereas the mk7 is a whole new car compared to the mk6.
It probably made sense as a lot of technical info for the mk5 would also apply to the mk6, so it maybe kept things a bit simpler than having two sections for the 'same' car.

There was a separate forum for the Mk6 at one point.
May be worth having a separate section for the EA888 engine still.

no point, it'll only be full of "my timing tensioner failed and lunched my engine" posts.

Now the common problem on the MKVI with the CCZB engine is this http://www.autoserviceprofessional.com/article/93400/noisy-audi-chain

15D6 UPDATE - Camshaft Adjuster (LNVW).pdf
A lot more difficult to deal with than the above since bearing bridge gauze breaks up and works its way into the camshaft adjuster - fault shows G40 but is big money fault!

Bloody hell that's less than idea. :chicken:
