Coilovers, choose by Synergy?
« on: June 06, 2016, 03:30:57 pm »
My Scirocco DCC shocks with 65K miles are showing signs of wear, particularly a crashy ride and I’m thinking of changing them.  So far I have a Vibratechnics lower engine mount, Superpro LCA, ALK and Eibach ARBs.  Replacement with standard DCC shocks, KW V1s or Eibach Pro Street S coilovers with the appropriate cancellation kits come out at similar costs.  I don’t necessarily need the DCC modes so I’m tempted by either of the other 2 options and probably the pro street s as it is designed to work with the Eibach ARB’s.  My question is, when you aren’t able to try both options, would the best bet to usually go with the choice that is likely to offer the best synergy?  KW have a 2 year warranty but Eibach who also use a KW damper only offer 1 so that could be a consideration as well.
