CD player help

im looking to get my cd player changed but im worried about battery drain will this happen im looking at changing to Pioneer Avic F9210 BT, I read somewhere about the can bus needs to be changed?

My understanding is any aftermarket head unit will cause battery drain if you have not got an upgraded canbus

what years your car.  mine on a 2008 has the better can bus anyway

I'm pretty sure that unit will not be seen by the canbus if you scan the car with it in so battery drain should not be an issue.
