Cam adjuster rattle
« on: March 11, 2016, 06:16:32 pm »
Managed to get the horrid adjuster rattle once the engine is up to temp again, can only assume due to poor fitment or a faulty part. It is more of an annoyance as it only comes now and again and doesn't affect the drive, so I'm wondering what is actually going on when it rattles? Is anything going to catastrophically go wrong or will it be fine to put up with (until I can stump up the £300 for the part plus labour :( )

No idea mate, but I've had the rattle for 30k and it's never caused a problem.
