@bluebert92 - Thank you so much! Such kind words . Yeah that's why I haven't changed my wheels tbh! They look so good and people are always commenting on them. They're matt black now & look just as good.

I'm definitely going to have a think about getting some back and getting them sprayed up maybe for a winter alloy instead of my monzas, I'm genuinely gob smacked how good they look over the standard classix! I may well do them in gloss Black and then I could always plastidip them matte if I needed to change :)

@bluebert92 - Yeah I was when I had them done. I'm thinking of a colour change, but honestly don't know if I want to :/

Oh I wouldn't change them! It suits your car to a tee mate, I for one vote you keep them that colour :driver:

Quick update - The Jetta was bought home last night ready to be fixed by my mechanic over the next 2 weeks.

Getting my turbo from Midlands Turbo. Don't know whether I'm getting mine repaired or a new unit as of yet until I found out why it failed.

So my turbo is now at Midlands Turbo being repaired. Turns our it died because of 'overspeed'. My mechanic will be checking my intercooler, all boost pipes & boost control valve (I think that's what it's called).  Then it should be back on my Jetta on Wednesday along with all the other parts it needs.

I could potentially have it back and be driving it by Wednesday night! So unbelievably excited! I'll post as & when I get it back

A word of warning, I would be fitting a new oil feed pipe when you rebuild it as its common for the existing oil feed pipe to be choked internally (on the bend) causing reduced flow and premiture failure of the replacement turbo.

@maxitrol - Thanks so much for the kind offer! I'll be getting them put on the same day and IF I need them tbh. Just because I want it back so bad! Haha.

I saw this in Huddersfield today, Did you end up selling this considering it has been a year since the last update? Looked well either way
