Rev G DV Obsolete?

Cheers all for the replies, I will have a look at the GFB DV+ instead. Anyone can recommend a good retailer for these?

I changed a perfectly Rev G out of my Pirelli as soon as I bought it and fitted a GFB DV+, far superior in my opinion.

Just fit and forget and no boost leak

As long as you buy from a proper retailer, AMD, Awesome, Demon Tweaks, TSR etc. then you'll be fine.

All of the leaking issues were fixed 2-3 years ago with revised items. They now work as they should

As for the D vs. G thing, I have seen the data in the past in the form of boost logs and N75 logs, showing the turbo to be working harder to maintain the lever of boost. They don't all leak hugely, some are a lot better/worse than others.... but the very nature of the design means that it will inevitably leak

I'm off to rtech on 30th July and I know they check and replace if necessary the dv for rev g. Do rtech stock the dv+ aswell now. Cheers

No they don't stock them. You'd have to supply your own and check that they don't mind fitting it for you

I too fitted a GFB dv+ supplied by AMD as my original rev d was completely split. Boost comes in earlier and holds. Completely different car now.
