Not a VW Up!
« on: September 07, 2016, 02:02:56 pm »
On hols in Greece again this week, had booked another Up! from my usual renta-car mob. No Up! left for me; I have had same model car last 2, maybe 3 years, and am quite keen - for what it is...

So have now got a "Tornado Red" Toyota Aygo.
In my experience this takes small, light, flimsy too a whole new level! The bloody seats are "miniaturised", and I'm not a big fella. Luckily we dont have far to go, and I wouldn't want to be trying many big hills in 38 deg C with the AC on.
It does appear to have a faux carbon fibre grille on the front tho

Even the Mrs commented, without prompting, that the whole thing seems a bit "wibbly"...and she has a Fiat 500!!!

Anyone had any experience of these things?
Are these the same as the 107, and the little Citroen thingy?

Horrible little thing, I remember a guy buying one brand new and it looked like a pothole could end it's life!

My sister in a simliar situation to you ended up being given a fiat 500L last week on holiday and loved it... They're actually quite cheap brand new too but still... A fiat  :slap:

Best thing I can say about our Fiat 500 is....that it's not as bad as i thought it would be!.
She "had to have it"...so we did, new. That was 8 yrs, and 90k mls ago.

Wife n 2 daughters driving put 25k on it the first year! F pads went at 11k, discs too before 25...i couldn't believe it.

Bits are now so cheap we'll run it into the floor - or until i get peed off with the random electrical faults?
I suspect ours will be one of the first "banger" 500's out there?
