Wishbone rear bush removal
« on: July 15, 2017, 04:17:58 pm »
:happy2:just a warning for people replacing wishbone rear bushes I started to see more and more mk 5 golfs where the two bolts that hold bush housing to subframe outer become seized heat or tapping them does not work so it's both subframe sides 300 quid from vow so I would say most vehicles have had alloy wheels which people clean with pressure washers or a jet hose could cause the problem so if they come out great loads of copper slip on them like vw should have done just done my car all snapped new sides of subframe bushes cost me 400 quid no labour which is lucky so may be be armed with second hand ones good luck
