Sale Valuation Thoughts, Please?
« on: October 28, 2017, 05:14:16 pm »
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post... Thinking about selling, and would appreciate a few thoughts on valuations to help me decide. Spec is:-
- 2005 05 DSG ( very smooth, no jerks; DSG service done on purchase in March 206); 5 dr; 17" Monza's
- 39,000 miles
- 4 owners
- Laser Blue - extremely good condition, 9/10, no wing rust problems; straight panels; very shiney; parking sensors
- 7 VW dealer stamps; last one independent dealer, so 8 altogether
- Interior 9/10 condition; no rattles ; Dual Climate; heated seats; highline clocks; MF steering Wheel
- factory sunroof
- factory sat nav
- factory 6 cd
- factory Bi xenons
- auto lights / wipers / puddle lights
- Cruise control
- engine not noisy on hot tickover

Overall an extremely good quiet rattle free car, with a good selection of factory options (not leather though) that belies its age to drive and to look at - on private plates, so many people very surprised to hear it is 05.

What you reckon chaps? I paid £8k at a dealer in March 2016, and done 6,000 miles in 20 months. I'm South Coast, if that makes any difference...

Cheers, in advance... Can't be many with this mileage / condition (don't shoot me with high mileage better etc, ha ha).  No comparables on Autotrader
