Fuse info help
« on: June 18, 2021, 05:05:25 pm »
Hi looking for some urgent help if possible. I have a 2008 dsg gti (BWA) and looking for the correct fuse list as there are so many online. Basically I've replaced the ac pressure sensor and also replaced a 10a fuse that looked blown thinking it may be the AC fuse. Now I have loads of as faults and the climatronic has packed up altogether, also a 'oil sensor garage' has appeared on the dash and won't clear. Please tell me these are somehow linked! Any help much appreciated.

If no one else replies I can see if it gives fuse info in my owners manual for you.

Mine's an Edition 30 but also a 2008 car.

It's pouring of rain atm here!

Yes mate. But think we have made a cock up....when we took out the old switch there was no o ring, fitted the new one with o ring and that's when the codes came and climate shut down etc.

When I lifted the bonnet you could hear gas escaping. Fitted the old switch without o ring (as that's how it came off) but with hindsight we reckon the old o ring was still in so we put one on top of the other if you get what I mean, and it didn't seal properly!
