That's exactly the BMW I would love to have had and it's even in red! I needed the practicality of the 5-door hatchback though.

Yes Red it was a truly epic machine. Unfortunately the running costs were also epic. £1200 for 4 new tyres, £400ish for an oil change, £435 per year road tax, 20mpg IF you were gentle with the loud pedal etc. etc. Ah it was fun while it lasted, but I've a baby on the way so it was time to say bye bye to the M and get into something that was still fun, but easier to run. I had an S3 8P before the M3, so I knew the edition 30 would be a good option. In some ways its more fun to drive because its a lot lighter and more nimble than the M3, but man do I miss that V8 growl
The Edition really needs a remap though. It feels very timid even compared to the S3. Revo stage 1 coming very soon!
