Has anyone got rear spacers on their car?

What are the advantages... or is it purely cosmetic?  I'd be interested in before and after snaps plz.

Keen also to understand how spacers impact driving dynamics - do they improve or make things worse.

Also, what is the maximum size of a spacer can be fitted on the rear without scrubbing...
