.
I went last year - I enjoyed it but didn't think it would be sufficiently different this year to warrant the long journey. Besides, my car needs 90k miles servicing so I'm keeping the mileage down until done.

I went up on friday, was quite disappointed, been 3 or 4 times before but it was just the same old thing just smaller than usual, i did wonder where the piston heads bit was until i realised i was standing near it. Not overly alot of point to the PH section.

I enjoyed seeing a few familiar faces there but would have been gutted if I'd paid £31 to get in!!  :surprised:

it was defo quieter than previous years...and agree the PH section was way smaller as well.

But seeing Ron Dennis's McLaren collection was nice. Action Arena provides some laughs...

I thought it was ok. Just never saw the VWR stand or Jay at the Migliour stand despite several walks around the exhibits to make sure I'd not missed and clunge, sorry stands. Fortunately I got in free or I think is have been a bit disappointed really.

Jay would have been on the Swiss Vax stand, VWR were easily missed, right in the centre was tempted to buy one of their jackets 140 down to 80.

^^^  :happy2:
I go every year on the trade days as it useful to catch up with people and kick start the motorsport year, but the 2011 show itself seemed smaller than last year and IMO the PH section has lost a bit of it's impact by having lots of small stands rather than bigger displays.

martin brundle was telling us all on one of the trade days he is well confused with the renault/lotus thing and that it will confuse a lot of people this year.  :driver:
