Oil leaking into air turbo/intake

Ive had the air filter housing off me car, and found that the oil breather pipe at the top/rear of the engine cover goes into the turbo intake pipe!

Is this normal?
It also looks like the oil is getting blown back up the intake towards the MAF sensor. Its not a great deal of oil, but enough i think to coat the sensor thus restricting performance of the MAF.
