can you play video's from....

an SD card?
or hard drive linked to the MDI unit?

if so, anyone know file tyres that are supported? surely thid must be do-able?

As above, you're extremely restricted with the RNS510 and as I've posted elsewhere, unless you're after oem, you can get a far more capable unit with the same budget.
