Heater Blower Resistor gone?
« on: January 02, 2012, 02:46:41 pm »
Hi all

My girlfriends heater has just packed in (Golf GT tdi 07 plate).

It doesnt work through speeds 1-3 but does on speed 4. I am assumng this is probably the blower resistor?

Question is, is this a common fault or is something likely to be blowing the resistor ie if I replace wil it just do it again?

Thanks

Matt

Cheers Phil

Will give it a go.

Got to say build quality on my gf's car doesnt seem great. Seem to be too many 'common problems' which aint great on a 4 year old car....
