Exposed twin pipes

Just wondering what back box i could get for a Gt 140 with a lower gti valance fitted , stock and aftermarket any pics and advice on the best all rounder would be great. thanks

either a miltek  with the edition 30 tail pipes like mine

or the gti back box

Stuck the ed30 back box on mine:





Made it look waaay better I think...  :happy2:

(Prob one of the cheapest solutions too.)

Fully agree. I think the mk5 looks 'right' with twin OEM pipes, regardless of engine.

Thanks Andy, it was a great car. The mileage was starting to get a bit high on it so it had to go  :sad1: (my excuse anyway :laugh:).

I also have the milltek on my tdi



The milltek will cost around £400 new

That's for the cat back, you will need an adapter pipe for it to connect to the standard downpipe. Shouldn't cost more than 400 i think, you could ring up a few places and get a quote  :happy2:

Got my whole ed30 exhaust for £60 off a member on here. Needed a reducer to fit but pretty straightforward.
