When my Clio 200 was hit by the Harley Davidson, i used Renault Assistance (basically, a 3rd party AMC) and they provided a like-for-like hire car. It was a Mini Cooper S, costing £120 per day.
My car was off the road for about 2 months, with no contract ever signed (only verbal on the phone) from what i remember. The hire costs would have been somewhere around £6k.
Are you basically saying that now, some 12 months after we got our car back, the 3rd parties insurers could refute the claim and try and recover costs from myself?
