Could you not just tie a knot just above the parcel shelf? would stop them hanging when the boot is down.

I was in Poundland today (being dragged round with my sis…honest)  :ashamed:  When I saw the retractable thingy-ma-jigs needed to stop peoples balls banging about  :happy2:


These are in a twin pack and are sold as "Never get lost Pens".

The pens, as well as the carabiner clips are easily removed, and can be very easily attach to the parcel shelf and your Balls  :laugh:

Not bad if I do say so myself  :pomp pomp:

And Before anybody asks…..they cost a POUND  :signLOL:

Just a bit of information. I bought a new parcel shelf string from VW and the ball is of a slightly different design, obviously revised. The ball is smaller and has larger fins that are angled like a propeller. It might be worth getting some and seeing if it helps.  :happy2:

I went for the "never get lost pens" solution, although they don't hang any more so the string just bends.  I will see how it goes.
