^ Ooops!! I know the amount of time and work which VWR/RL put into preparing that car

The Rocco's look so much better modded. I prefer #20.

It was an absolute mess after he binned it on the first bend in race 1... I'd heard it was on its roof later on, what a waste!!

I'll bang some pics up shorlty, anyone else's face still stinging from sunburn?

You all beat me to it the curse of the "That looks nice!".  He was doing well in the first race and the number 53 Beatle got it wrong coming out of Knicker brook and spun right in front of 66 who tried to avoid him, got his back wheels on the grass and that was it.  Took out the massive foam blocks on the run up Clay hill and spun back across the track into the tyres on the other side.

Was good driving heard the guy instantly give the car everything but not enough room to to get out of it.  I got the odd picture of it, happened so fast.  Will upload them hopefully today.

What a shame about that Rocco! I wonder if they would sell me the wheels for a grand total of £100.......   :chicken: That would be most generous of them!  :jumpmove:

afraid to say guys but car 66, the new Scirocco, may be dead already after its first outing.

went on a bit of a roll i think.

Must of been VW's new ACC system doing its work there :signLOL:

....This car came straight from a VW showroom and was totally stripped out, including the ACC system (which I think is a gimmick aimed at Mr & Mrs Ordinary-Driver who only thinks about sticking his/her living room armchair on 4 wheels) : -

^ #66 is the black car ^

Weather was a bit strange yesterday, thought it was going to rain in the morning.  Sun finally came out in the afternoon and yet still went home with sunburn.  Oulton Park really has its own little weather system going on there you know.

Anyway throwing a few more photos up, hope there aren't too many in this post.

Scirocco death:

I think I heated the brakes up too much boss!!!

OMG how did they get in there!!!!

Some earlier 'doing it wrong'...

I think he may have had a nudge off the Vento around the first bend, did a cracking save to be fair and carried on. He binned it again losing the rear bumper and stoved the front/side in. They spent a good few hours putting it back together and then he finished it off in race 2.

Some people eh!!
