If so check with them to see if they provide any accidental cover for purchases
I need cover for that...theres a been a few "accidental" purchases been made in the past....
Is it a Plasma or LCD?
Either way,if the screens been impaired,it's goosed. The only way to repair would be to replace the entire screen and as most of the important other bits are directly integrated, then you basically would be paying for a new TV minus the plastic surround.Plus the engineers time, hence the high price.
There are a few places on the net where you might find a refurbished model or ex catalogue/display TV for a couple of hundred pounds less, but I think you may have to buy a replacement.
