Rust on rear wheel hubs...

After cleaning my alloys/calipers whatever I was using at the time has left an acidic/rusty marks on the hubs and discs.

was wondering whether should paint these black with bbq paint or just try and buff them with some Silvo wadding?

Any ideas?

I painted mine silver with Hammerite smooth.  Rough and clean them up with a wire brush / abrasive paper first to remove localised corrosion.

Silver looks more OEM but black would be fine if you wanted it that way.  My A4 has black hubs and black calipers 

Just be wary of applying too much to the face if you decide to paint that as you could cause a slight wheel imbalance.
