Air bag warning light
« on: May 18, 2009, 01:04:27 pm »
So I unconnected the yellow connector under the drivers seat  (Don't ask why) and than when i re-connected it the air bag warning light came on.

So i turned the car off and than back on and the yellow symbol on instrument panel goes off but than comes back and stays on..

Im sure i just need to clear the fault code that may have come on as a result of disconnecting than reconnecting yellow connector so i wanted to know if i buy this product  VVVVVVV  would that solve the problem. Thanks

http://www.gendan.co.uk/product_GDVAG.html would that work  :happy2:

I dont believe so. As it only says reads air bag codes?

I had my air bag light cleared by a friend with a snap-on scanner if that helps?

Edit: Just read it clears warning lights so am still unsure, would be a usefull piece of kit to have for anyone without access to VAG-COM.

Have a look in the vagcom section - see if anyone near you has it and see if they will clear it for you.

Oh and yes by the sound of it the error will just need clearing.
