Help needed with Xenons!
« on: March 28, 2013, 06:20:37 pm »
Right guys and girls

Had my xenons fitted today at main dealers and they have a few problems with the coding.

Apparently there version of VCDS or VagCom doesn't have a simple check box like all u guys show on the guide, they have to actually enter a code.

So they managed to get a code for xenon with shutters so they both work great but now when on high beam I have no halogen at all!? Just xenon dipped and main. So could the code be wrong? Does any one know the correct one?

Also now the leaving home light function has disappeared an just coming home is working, on the highline menu just coming home is available no sign of leaving home, a feature I really miss.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers guys

Will

I presume they didnt wire the 2 wires into the CCM module? If not.. they have to be coded as "without shutters"

The halogens shouldn't be on when full beam is selected.

The halogens only operate as flash to pass lights.

When I coded mine with halogen as flash to pass, the halogens came on with xenon high beam shutter. If I coded out the halogen flash to pass, they didn't come on with high beam. I couldn't get halogen as flash to pass but not on high beam.
