5th gear issues....

Having some major issues with 5th gear...

Goes into gear absolutely fine but when engaging the clutch it makes a short sharp grind/rasping noise and then when I am engine breaking its grinds/rubs constantly.... this noise stops instantly when I touch the throttle and starts again on release...

any ideas?

would massively appreciate some help here as im sheeeeting it!!
