Will ed30 standard springs fit a gt tdi 140 & will they be any different in hight on standard gt shocks

i am postive they will be lower and i would of thought they should fit they are both front wheel drive cars

You should have 55mm struts if yours is a 2.0tdi 140/170 bhp ...so they should go on ...it should also be marginally lower ..a gt is 15mm lower and I think a gti is 20mm lower but can't remember if the gti is any lower than a gti

There is virtually no difference on the front with either gti or tdi ..its only the rear that change and that's only if you have a jetta or wagon as there's are slightly uprated for heavier rear

would of thought the tdi springs were different due to the extra weight the engine
