Oh boy...add phil to the cranky pile! And we'd just worked it all out too. Hedge Is there a base value for the flash count in order to compare it with an AmD one? And Widget I'll be chasing them first thing in the morning. Fingers crossed for the car having some AmD goodies on it and bad news for then having to tell the insurers about them :sad1:

Thanks wigit...I've recently bought the VCDS thing...was that the right set of initials?? So i'll be hours plugging the thing in and seeing what comes up. It took me 3 days to get my satnav coded correctly, not helped by a laptop whose battery dies after only an hour. Too many options and not a clue what I'm doing, makes for a good mix. Also Apologies....I think I managed to spell wigit different every time, my bad :ashamed:  Thinking of changing my profile name to Cranky

I have an AmD sticker on my Mac Book Pro shall I phone them to see if it is on there records  :P

Is exhaust standard? Order of mods is normally re-map then exhaust then other mods.

Golf GTi Edition 30-Grey - 5 Door - DSG
APS Re-Map, Milltek Non-Res Exhaust, R32 Brakes, Eibach Springs, Eibach ARB's, Carbon Speed Air Intake, Forge DV.
And much more to come.

I can't make up my mind right now if i'm relieved or dissapointed. After talking to AmD I spoke to the main dealers who serviced the car and found out that no tuning work had been carried out while it was being serviced by them. A special thanks to the last guy whom shall remain nameless for giving out the personal details (postcode) for the last owners as thats the details which AmD hold on record.  A quick call back to AmD and surprise surprise no work has been carried out by them. Maybe its fate....due the four year service and heading over to Streetwise Automotive in Bristol and maybe a little chat about their REVO products.

Just got off the phone with Mitch from Streetwise. Top bloke, well informed. The cars booked in for all sorts of servicing requirements and I think I just bought the revo Stage 1. Sounded to good to turn down really. He gets it next week for the servicing and checkover then providing everything checks out on goes the remap. Good job I'm getting new tyres tomorrow, think I'm going to need them.  :innocent:
