Right, I don't want to sound like a complete paranoid freak here but a few thing don't ad up....
I found an R32 being broken on eBay and msg'd the seller asking about some parts, the price was VERY good for the bits I was intersted in so I confirmed the deal and then he sent his mobile number so I could call him as it might be easier...
I spoke with him on the phone and said I'd take what he was offering at the price I knocked him down to and I asked when I could come and get the parts. He then said he would take my offer on Monday (the only day I could get down there) if no one else had bought the parts as he had some other interest.
Later on in the evening (Friday) I txt and said I could definitely come Monday morning with the cash for the parts! This is how the msgs played out...
SELLER: Well I've just been speaking to somebody and they are checking there bank now to see if they can make transfer tonight
ME:Ahh gutted. Is that for front and rear?
SELLER:For a complete front end. If you want you can pay £*** and they are yours
ME:I've got the money mate that's not a problem. I won't send the money down before collecting I'm afraid.

If the only way of securing the bits is me sending you money without any guarantee that I'll get anything for it then I'm sorry mate I just can't risk it! Look at it from my point of view mate, I haven't seen pics of the parts and don't have your address. I'm a man of my word and for the price your parts are a bargain so why wouldn't I show with the money? If the other guy is willing to send you money for the headlights then take it mate.
