Wheels are tyres will be fine.

Width and ET on those wheels are good for your car. Will give you 13mm poke over standard 7.5 ET51 so fill fill the arche nicely and give you a nice stance. Springs are springs, you may get a wee bit of rubbing at the front, nothing the screw delete mod under the front won't cure.

Look into H&R springs, cost less than £200 so not expensive.

Unlikely you will rub just on springs. Eibach sportline or H&Rs are your best bet

Eibach Sportline around 20mm and H&R a wee bit more.  Check out their respective sites.

Coilover low. You will still have arch gap with springs.

You will still be an inch or more away from the tyre with springs only. You cant really decide how low to go on springs, they go however low they are designed to be. If you want to pick how low you go, then buy coilovers

^^^^ you won't get an exact drop as they are springs, every case (within reason) will be different. Look on the manufactures websites, usually give you a distance BETWEEN which the springs will drop you car or will say UP TO said drop.

Chap I know on here had H&R's on his Eddy (albeit with spacers fitted to his wheels to clear his BBK) and it dropped the front end around 40mm so the edge of the tyre was exactly in line with the ach, looked the dingles and fine in a straight line, give it some spirited driving around a corner and rubbing occurred. Another chap ran the Eibach Pro's and got NOTHING at all, no drop.

Adjustable coilovers is your answer or H&R Springs.

Check out GNJ Motorsport's site for springs. Speak to Graeme, he's also a member on here.......
