What I meant when I said they are only 4WD when you don't need FWD was that you wouldn't know If you had it or not unless you needed it
In other words theres no need for 4WD in most situations so you wouldn't miss it
And yes I know how haldex works, rears only kick in when they detect the front slipping. It only takes a fraction of a second for this to happen.
Besides a blue haldex controller more or less sorts all these 'issues' out. So if it bothered you that much its easy to fix.
And R32 laps top gear in 1:30.4 Ed30 does it in 1:32.6 and Gti in 1:33.7 I used top gear track as a reference because its the same driver
And yes I completely agree with jay again in terms of these type of threads, It's your money test drive them both we can only offer our opinion which may be biased
