Will get it looked at but want to know if I pull the ABS fuse out the car will be ok...
If you don't know if the car is ok to drive without ABS then you should really take your car to a garage who specialises in VW/DSG perhaps, and leave the diagnosing to them.
That response was not particularly helpful. The OP already stated he'll get the car looked at. He simply wanted to know what the implications were with no ABS.
From my own professional, and exceedingly lengthy experience - having non-working ABS is no different to say pre-ABS cars being driven with seized rear brake load proportioning or load limiting vavles. And again, relying on my said experience - driving a car with just one tyre under-inflated by a mere 6 psi is arguably more dangerous than no ABS.
I've not been around here for a while (for very personal reasons), but I thought the fundamental ethos of this particular highly regarded forum was to help out others with genuinely helpful (and where possible - technical) information. I'm not sure your previous post met that particular standard of ethos. By all means, add banter, and berate the stupid - but only AFTER they've been advised of the correct info.
Just my very humble opinion, Guv.
