Fitting DAB antenna, routing extension lead for DAB

I've successfully fitted the antenna base to the car and have dropped the coax extension out in the boot. I was preparing to run it behind the boot side trim panel then under the edge of the trim panels and sill panel to the head unit. My question is this - is this the best/preferred/easiest route or should I be dropping the edge of the headlining and going to the front of the car this way and then down behind the A pillar trim?

If there's anyone who could advise I'd be grateful!

The route VW use for either roof aerial or hatch aerial is down behind the C pillar trim drivers side to the floor under the carpet and up to the stereo.

as its only a DAB signal going though a screened cable quite capable with rejecting interference you can run it the easiest way possible, across the head lining is quite an easy route as it can be tucked in the door rubbers and behind trim without removing it.

but if you like removing trim etc. to the floor and under the carpet would be best only IMO of course

I need to make a decision on this soon as well.
You make the headlining passenger side root sound easiest. Once the hand grips are removed will the headlining drop a little? I've got to remove A pillar trim any way to remove the windscreen aerial I fitted.
The floor trims seem to need a lot of force to remove, and will they go back perfect again?

Also the headunit has 2 fm cables going to it, but the polo DAB aerial only has 1 FM & 1 DAB cable, so what happens to the other FM socket at headunit end?

You have one FM on the roof one in the hatch for diversity tuning, so you will 2 behind the HU plus dab
