Edition 30 bhp
« on: April 09, 2014, 12:15:28 am »
Iv had my edition 30 for a few weeks now and had it on the rolling road the other day and it made 350bhp.

The previous owner has done

R8 coil packs
Fuel pump internals upgrade
Front mount inter cooler
Exhaust system
Dsg map
Remap

I think that's all that's been done. Is the power about right for what's been done ?

Some people are running more for the mods that have been carried out I thought, I'm not sure on who did the map either

Depends what software is on it mate??

Might only be stage 2 rather than stage 2+

I know you don't know what software is on it so to get any more power I think you're going to have to bite the bullet and get it remapped again.

If you're happy with how it goes I wouldn't worry about it  :happy2:

You could spend a few hundred pound and get a custom stage 2+ map done if you wanted a little more but to be honest it's.more how it drives and how hard it pulls...if your happy just leave it

It goes pretty well anyway but may be worth trying a new map to see what can be achieved

Why don't you write to the previous owner who's details would be on the V5 and ask what has been done? I'm sure they would be happy to tell you :)

The numbers are as much as you probably want in fwd, next up would be a limited slip diff  :driver:. Not so good value if you're not planning long ownership  :stupid:.
Do you plan on doing track days at all?
