Buying help needed.
« on: October 17, 2016, 09:32:12 pm »
Hi all.

I'm looking to buy my first Mk5 GTi. I've looked at a few so far but I'm very interested in this one:

I would really appreciate some feedback on this one. A good buy?

David

Looks to be well looked after with some extras.

If you are going on condition and happy with the spec then the price isn't too bad. I'm not surprised it has been reduced as any more then 7k is too much imo.

Good spec, and in the real world probably an OK price though would like it to be nearer £6.5k. No parking sensors though.

Wonder what the 'VAG service history' consists of? Sadly no guarantee of quality!

Thanks for the replies! Much appreciated. I spoke to the seller last night, seems like a nice genuine guy. Service history is VW and a VW specialist. I'm going to look at the car on friday. The price does seem maybe £200-400 high but everything is the spec I am after. Fingers crossed its a good one!
