Turbo back exhaust & engine light
« on: April 27, 2014, 08:39:41 am »
I'm about to fit a turbo back blueflame exhaust system (de-cat) to my ed 30 with stage 1 revo map.

Will i get the engine management light on?
Is the engine light due to the 'lamda' sensor or due to no 'cat'?

I know the revo stage 2 map eliminates the engine light but does stage 1 do the same?

It will throw up an error eventually.

Most generic stage 1 maps will not remove the lamda error. Stage 2 maps do.

However. If you went to rtech for a custom map, niki could do a stage 1 map and remove the lamda error.

Thanks but im nowhere near any rtech premises, im up north in sunny scotland...
Although i'd be aswell paying for a revo stage 2 rather than paying the same for a custom rtech stage 1 ??

I've read about sensor spacers, do these work?
