Aux in RNS510
« on: May 15, 2014, 07:44:35 pm »
Evening all

Just bought a aux in kit that's plug and play, however I've just spent half hour reading threads on various forums and 90% say you have to activate aux on the rns510  :stupid: these threads are about 2-4 years old though so hoping tech has moved forward and it's a straight forward easy jobbie

I'm a bIT confused and dont want to take my dash apart to realise I need it coding as I don't have VAGCOM.

if I need it coding is there anyone at the lakeside meet that's taking there VAGCOM to help me out, I will pay you with filter burgers from KFC  :signLOL:

Also I assume the blank buttons behind the gear stick just pop out so my aux in socket will just pop in nicely?

Is it not possible to retro fit an mdi unit? You would then get power to your device too.
