Attaching pressed plates.
« on: May 15, 2014, 09:47:37 am »
Alright guys,

i have just bought some pressed plates and number plate surrounds. I aint worried about fixing to the rear but my question is regarding the front. Looking at the number plate it sits on a fixing already, if i use a numberplate surround aswell will it make the number plate sit too proud and look stupid or should i just fix the plate to the car without the surround on the front ?

I used 3M double sided foam tape, I only put a surround on the back cause the surround wouldn't 'bend' around the bumper on the front how I wanted it and I didn't like how it sat/stuck out.

Number plate tape from Halfords (green) which is cheap and sticks well or use plate holders which screw in and then the plate clips into the holder.
