As said, dealer parts are more than enough and don't cost a fortune either.

They're not always the best parts though. You can get better brake pads, better engine oil, for starters.

I've not heard of anyone buying anything else in terms of filters. Oil is a different matter though - OEM isn't the best

As above there's better options for things like plugs, oils and brakes but for stuff like filters, thermostats and other little bits OEM is best.
