Yes but with those come a whole host of things to compliment one to the next . As its been said, in reality, you would have to do other mods to contain 280+ ponnies.

Its fun, and bloody hard to stop if you have the cash to splash

Yep, I've got all of 'em ED!

To be fair mine doesn't struggle with getting the power down now, but I can imagine say 30BHP more and I'd be struggling with 2nd gear corner exits.
Sideways yo!

i agree with the above. 280bhp is not to be laughed at. that is still a very quick car. enough to fully embarass alot of much more expensive machinery(something i enjoy doing as mines a skoda so it annoys them so much more)

I would not like to run 280bhp on std suspension setup though. I think the absolute first mod should be ARBs.

280bhp in the wet will also need a very progressive right foot or a diff.

I got 249 BHP just off APR remap, and 299lb/ft, on my first GTi. It felt very quick at that.

MK6 3dr CW GTi with Dynaudio, 18" Monza Shadows, Winter Pack, Luxury Pack, Rear View Camera, Underseat Drawers. ED30 Gone But NEVER Forgotten.
