Servicing worry after remap

Hi all,  I have a rtech remap on my 2007 gti, it's due a service but Im concerned the dealer/independent will wipe the remap? Can they and do I need to be concerned?

No it won't loose the remap if it's one of Niki Gowers  :happy2:

Providing they dont try and flash the ECU..

Just tell specifically not to update the ECU

Put a sticker on the dash or port specifying not to flash it... as said, if there's an update they will update it, so worth mentioning. :happy2:

AN independent shouldn't wipe it at all, main dealers might if they think your ECU needs flashing. As above tell them not to
