Streamlining of the For Sale Area
« on: February 08, 2014, 11:13:57 am »
Hi everyone.

Over the next few days we will be starting to remove all redundant For Sale posts, working from the oldest to the latest. We will leave the last 6 months of adverts intact. There are still items up from 2010. If for some reason you need the information contained in a specific posts then please endeavour to save this information ASAP.

Hopefully this streamlining will lead to more efficient moderation of posts whilst also making the sections easier to browse. The net effect will also be improved forum speed, something that we are keen to keep in check.

Any problems, please PM or email us.

Thanks

The only downside to this, would be the fact you cant see how much previous items have sold for to get an idea of how much to price yours, but I understand the reasons to do this.  :happy2:

What would be the point in seeing how much a 55 plate Golf sold for in 2010?

You'd know what a 5 year old car was worth.

Gone but not forgotten :-)
