Quick help needed...

Changing the sat nav in the GTi over to a pioneer double din unit... what will i need

Facia adaptor (anyone know of a nice looking one?)
Stearing wheel control adaptor
Pioneer - VW ISO adaptor

anything else? someone said somthing about a canbus adaptor???

Just a point to note with that adapter listed above it won't be 100% plug and play, you will need to run a switch 12v live to the headunit as well  :happy2:

Funny enough, I'm just going through the same thing.....

Better bet is to get the CANBUS adaptor (£50-odd).

You'll also need a FAKRA adaptor.

Cheers dan... got the same answer from caraudiosecurity.com who im ordering the stereo from..

said im better off going for the canbus system.. that also conects up the stearing wheels controls too...

will let you know how I get on  :happy2:
