Parking sensor and Coolant sensor faults
« on: November 18, 2015, 08:14:33 pm »
Hi guys, I've got an 06 Gti, which Has a few little things I want to sort before I sell.
1. Rear parking sensors have a mind of their own, one looks slightly damaged, they beep when there's nothing behind me and speed up on their own, however when you get close to something they start working normally.
2. Coolant sensor comes on when first starting up cold, but goes away X restarted after less than a minute. This has only started happening when the weathers gone colder and I've checked the bottle and it's not emptying the sensing probe is in the fluid.

I'm thinking of replacing one sensor to maybe sort that issue but what do you think? Also what would I need to replace to sort the coolant sensor?
