Oem bi-xenons solenoid fault?

Hey. i installed oem bi-xenons with shutter and they worked for about 4 weeks and then i washed the car and the shutter stayed open and didn't want to shut it self? manualy closed the shutter and now the shutter wont work!? is the fault the solenoid? can the solenoide be changed? readed that Bmw E46 projector will fit the oem golf mk5 xenon headlight

Best getting a genuine used headlight and taking parts out  :wink:

can these be tested somehow if they are faulty? easy to swap over?

I think you can test shutters in vcds but someone more experienced will know.
