Boost Leak Arrrrr
« on: October 08, 2016, 09:25:44 pm »
So I think I have a boost leak, but it a strange one. When accelerating the car makes a distinctive sounds like there is air leaking, and it’s bloody loud, but there is not that mush in the way of power loss, I have just serviced the car, Oil Change, and filter, and why I was there I changed the leaking ITC hose O’rings with original VW once. Sense then I keep hearing this air leaking noise. I have double checked the O’rings are seated correctly and there our no oil leaks anymore, all looks fine with the ITC hoses

I have done a VCDS scan and there are no engine errors coming back. I have also done a log, can someone here give me a second opinion on the graph I have produced in excel, it does not look to bad, but I might be wrong.

Well this is a first for me, the exhaust housing that connect to the turbo outlet blow off due to a weak weld from factory, really was a WFT moment when we got the car on the ramp. What next.
