MFSW
« on: December 07, 2016, 05:33:50 pm »
Hi all,

Newby here. I'm sure this has been asked 100s of times before and I do apologise but looking to fit a mk5 Multifunction steering wheel into my 05 GTI and it has a lowline cluster and it's a manual. Looking for all the bits and pieces needed.

From what I can tell:
MFSW
Slipring
Controller module
Vcds

Am I missing anything else?

Allan

The airbag loom, you may not need a new slip ring

Gtis didn't have lowline clusters, they have midline so you would have type 2 slip ring already. But yes, airbag loom is needed.
